Sam’s Point Loop

Sam's Point Loop is a beautiful hike that offers waterfalls, one of only two ridgetop dwarf pine barrens in the world, lakeside views, dense forests, and cliffs that open up to spectacular views. This area is considered a National Natural Landmark and was labeled as one of "Earth's Last Great Places" by the Nature Conservancy. This is a long and demanding hike, but totally worth it! Dogs are allowed on this trail but must be kept on leash. Note: The parking lot opens at 9am and requires a $10 entrance fee.
